Russian gamble pays off

Some will say it was negative football, an unspectacular game, ugly play and what not. I say it’s a gamble which paid off for Cherchesov. Rating Portugal, Spain at Russia 2018

Portugal takes on Spain at Fisht Olympic Stadium in what is the first big clash of Russia 2018. While Portugal has been serenely preparing for the World Cup, their opponents were rocked by the dismissal of their coach Julen Lopetegui two days before the game.
