Real Madrid have been very busy acquiring Eden Hazard from Chelsea FC and Luka Jovic from Frankfurt. Eder Militao will also join the Spanish giants from Porto in July, in a deal concluded earlier in the season.

Manchester United have an agreement in principle with Daniel James, a blistering fast winger from Swansea. The English behemoths, who finished 6th in last season’s EPL, also announced the release of 15 players, including only two first team players: Ander Herrera, who is expected to join PSG and veteran Antonio Valencia.
Juan Mata has been offered a new contract to prolong his stay at Old Trafford – no news on whether he’s signed yet. United have also signed 16 year old Ajax prodigy Dillon Hoogewerf.
In Serie A, the managerial merry-go-round has seen Gattuso depart AC Milan after failing to get them back in the Champions League. The Italian gracefully resigned, allowing his staff to be paid in full for the rest of their contract.
Local rivals Inter Milan have appointed Antonio Conte to replace Luciano Spaletti. After a trophy-laden career at Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri will leave the club and is rumored to soon be replaced by Maurizio Sarri from Chelsea.
Earlier in the season, Bayern Munich, renowned for striking early in terms of transfers, had agreed deals to bring world-cup winning duo Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez to the Allianz Arena. James Rodriguez will return to Real Madrid after his loan ended and both parties decided not to make the move permanent. Bayern’s CEO has confirmed his club are trying to attract Leroy Sane from Manchester City but the finances involved in such a move make it improbable.
After a documentary on how he would stay at Atletico last season, Antoine Griezmann announced he would leave Atletico Madrid this summer but no destination has been revealed so far, with Barcelona the rumored interested party.
Speaking of Barcelona, it has been announced for a while now that they have agreed a deal for De Jong from Ajax. The midfielder’s colleague, De Light, however has shed no light on where he would play next season, touting moves to La Liga or the EPL. With the imminent return of Leonardo as technical director at PSG, De Light could well be the Brazilian’s first signing. Affaire a suivre.
Veteran Gianluigi Buffon will leave PSG after only one season at the club, magrred by an embarrassing elimination at the hands of Manchester United in the Champions League, with Buffon especially responsible on one of the goals.
Chelsea are stepping up their appeal against a transfer ban so they can sign players early in the window, especially considering they just lost their best player to Madrid and have funds to spend.
