December is the festive time everybody has grown up loving. For some it’s Christmas or New Year celebrations. For football addicts like us, it’s the period where multiple games are crammed in the space of a few days and we’re off school or work to watch everything.

Fantasy football managers have to be wise during those days. Wildcards can come in very handy, especially with coaches rotating their teams wildly to perform well during the most hectic part of the season. One trick is to wait for double match gameweeks and use your triple captain joker. Another is to profit from double match gameweeks with the free hit (don’t wait till the end of the season where some games don’t matter).

Without any further ado, here are some players which could raise your points tally. Three Londonian clubs have a specially kind run coming up, so I will focus on them first.
Felipe Anderson‘s (7.3m) form has been terrific of late. His team has been banging in the goals and the Brazilian forward now has an impressive 78 points. Manuel Pellegrini seems to have turned West Ham’s fortune around for now and their next five games are all winnable.

If your midfield is packed with expensive players, a bargain striker should be Chicharito (6.3m). He will profit from Arnautovic’s absence. Snodgrass is another cheap option, in midfield, at 5.3m. I would not recommend any defensive players from the Hammers as their defence can still be flaky.
West Ham’s next five games: Fulham (A), Watford (H), Southampton (A), Burnley (A), Brighton (H).
Everton away should be Spurs’ hardest over the next five games, three of which are at home and one against relegation candidates Cardiff City. Surely we can expect Spurs to do well with such a favorable run of games.
I would suggest keeping Harry Kane (12.5m) upfront during that period. The Englishman might have disappointed those who captained him last week but he will make up for it soon. Heung Min Son (8.5m) is another interesting player and is a bit cheaper than Cristian Eriksen (9.3m).
Spurs’ next five: Burnley (H), Everton (A), Bournemouth (H), Wolves (H), Cardiff City (A)
For my next recommendation, let’s stay in London.
Apart from Liverpool away, Arsenal have a nice fixture list coming up. Aubameyang (11.5m) has been on fire recently. I would stick with him if he’s already in your team. Depending on funds, you might opt for Lacazette (9.6m) who’s cheaper. The Frenchman has disappointed some managers (including me) this season but I think with all the rotation we’re about to see could be a real asset.
Unfortunately Arsenal’s defence has not been so reliable this season. I would still trust Bellerin (5.5m) since Emery does not seem to take long to fix issues in his Arsenal team. Plus a right-back or right-wing back like Bellerin can always compensate with assists.
Arsenal upcoming fixtures: Southampton (A), Burnley (H), Brighton (A), Liverpool (A), Fulham (H)
