Could Gareth Bale be the last piece of the puzzle for Mou?

Manchester United’s preseason has not got off to the perfect start according to their manager Jose Mourinho. It’s not through lack of proper planning and facilities but rather down to many first team players still on vacation after the World Cup. New signing Fred has not yet joined the squad while Diogo Dalot is out injured. The only new player to have featured for Mou is Lee Grant, signed as third goalkeeper from Stoke City. To top it off, the club is yet to make a marquee signing and fulfill their manager’s wishes of an additional two signings. No wonder Mou is being grumpy! Manchester United are slowly overcoming the post-Fergie malaise under Jose Mourinho. After a morose Moyes ‘era’, a short stint by club legend Ryan Giggs and the two years of false dawn under the insufferable dutch coach Louis Van Gaal, United decided to go for a proven winner in Jose Mourinho, who while LVG was struggling in Manchester, was winning the league with Chelsea. 2 years after Mourinho’s appointment, for the first time in a long five years Manchester United will be enjoying two consecutive years in the Champions League and a second place finish.
